This vigorous, hardy variety matures into a dense habit with individual orange-red flowers that hang from the ends of branches in early to late summer, followed by red fruit; drought tolerant once established, this selection is great for sunny borders. Wonderful Pomegranate has nodding tomato-orange tubular flowers with orange overtones at the ends of the branches from early to late summer, which are interesting on close inspection. The fruits are showy red pomes carried in abundance in early fall. It has dark green evergreen foliage. The glossy oval leaves remain dark green throughout the winter.
